54 Eagle pair at Flattery

$12.00

Hand signed by the artist, single-matted in 8 x 10 mat (choose mat color below - price includes mat), foam-core backed and bagged. Eagle pair at Flattery. I didn't paint with this painting, I fought with it all the way (see the Painting Process, this website). Still, of the 600 or so paintings I've done so far, it is one of my 2 or 3 favorites. The upper Eagle is intended to be the female, larger and more powerfully built, but further from the viewer. The lower bird is the male. These are mated birds. You often see mated Eagles sitting even closer than this. The landscape is Cape Flattery, on the Makah nation in the Northwest corner of the Olympic Peninsula and thus the lower 48.
