This was the result of a trip Delia and I took with her parents up to Tatla Lake in Central British Columbia.  That was a really nice trip, hearing multiple Loons singing together in harmony at 3 am was just one of the high points, and Delia’s folks were great travelers.  A friend I met at the store gave me a nice ref photo of a Bull Moose–I scolded him mightily when he said he approached this Moose closer to get a better shot.   It’s appropriate that it’s near a wetland-fringed lake as I understand Moose do a lot of foraging in and under the water eating aquatic vegetation.
