#258 All Aboard for Anacortes (14 x 18)

14 x 18 signed poster on 130 lb. acid-free paper, foamcore-backed and bagged.  A Harbor Seal turns its head toward the viewer as a ferry loads on Orcas Island. Artist’s license was invoked, just trying to get the feel of the San Juans.  Orcas Island, by the way, is apparently a continuing stronghold in Washington state, at least as of 2018, for the Common Nighthawk, which has disappeared from so many areas of the state.  They perhaps nest on balds in the forest of this mountainous island.
