21 Feb February Recap of New Paintings
Posted from Seattle on Feb 20, 2025
Delia and I spent the last two weeks in the bootheel of New Mexico. Time in the bootheel always means I get a lot of painting done. Here’s the report in video

These shots are after one session from back in Seattle. This is Surf Scoters

Towhee, actually Spotted Towhee. We only have one Towhee on the West Side, the Spotted Towhee, in Washington but there are four in New Mexico, a fifth in Cal and a different one that looks the Spotted back East, the Eastern Towhee.

Hermit Warbler with Mt. St. Helens in the background.

Kingston, with a Bufflehead squad in flight passing in front. I retract the horrible things I said about female Buffleheads in the movie. To quote JJ Cale, “I wish I had not said that Baby.”
