March 15, 2011.  In a previous post we described how our Ma Hummer has been through a snow storm and had to endure an exploring cat.  Since then there’s been a big rainstorm and a freeze. And last night a windstorm came up that had the branch she is nesting on rocking back and forth with abandon.  But here she is fine this morning, waiting for whatever threat is next in store for her.   We’re hoping for hatchlings any day now.
