Spring Migration 2024

You won’t hear about it on the radio, you won’t see it on Television, you won’t read about it in the newspaper, but it’s migration time!

Delia and I have been torn between watching it out the back door as it plays out on Butyl Creek and going out to see it in birding hotspots around the state.

Wilson’s Warblers have been a constant presence on Butyl Creek for many days in May. This is a small Warbler that moves fast and finds breeding grounds in our area, in moist deciduous lowland forests.
