This is the second edition printed in July of 2024. I just realized this wasn’t on the website until now. What many people find amazing about this print is that a very slow artist, working with brush on canvas, was the only one to capture this astonishing event, and this in spite of the ubiquity now of cameras and photographic devices. It’s also a testimonial to how quickly a city will forget an event that seemed so momentous at the time it happened. The good news is that the all-important Gumwall, the “Crown-Jewel-of the-Market” was not damaged at all.
