#118 The Harbor in Winter

This is my version of one of the iconic scenes that bespeak the Pacific Northwest, the view by telephoto lens from the back of the bay in Gig Harbor Wasington, right across the Tacoma Narrows bridge from Tacoma. I visited Gig Harbor in 1989 and achieved an early finish of the painting in that year I believe and published in in a larger format including a Merlin. This is a crop of that painting, endlessly reworked although the differences are minor. It’s in its 3rd edition published in September of 2023, and this edition is darker than the one that reigned over the last 20 years at the store.
