Shorebird Skinny. This skinny features some of Ed’s Shorebird paintings including Seven Sanderlings, (juvenile Sanderlings are hidden on rocks) that launched Ed’s art career in 1983 and sold out soon after, plus Beachhopping, wherein a flock of winter Dunlins and Sanderlings fly over the Bay, plus a detail from Stonebirds, a collection of Shorebirds including a Short-billed Dowithcer and Sanderlings, and a NW coastal scene of two Black Oystercatchers with bright red bills, and the painting which was featured on Ed’s Grays Harbor Shorebird Festival poster of Bowerman Basin with a Dunlin, Black-bellied Plover and Western Sandpipers.
