Olympic Sunset. Sharp-eyed customers will notice that this is a cropped version of Evening Commute. Without the commuting Great Blue Heron, the fun is gone from the name Evening Commute, so I decided to take a big risk and call it “Olympic Sunset.”  (The risk? That I’ll be sued. There is no organization more egregiously possessive of intellectual property rights to a name than the Olympics, as in the Games.  They are so over the line and, to be frank, disgusting in this way that they have disallowed through legal pestering a Guidebook to life forms in the Olympic Mountains of Washington state from being distributed outside of the state.)

“Olympic Sunset” is in its second edition as of March 2025 and the color balance is different from the print that has been at the store for the last 30 years.
