Rainier in Autumn. The season is getting late and the view is from Paradise. I’m no botanist but the reds I believe are provided by Vine Maple, Mountain Ash, huckleberries and others. The bird is a Clark’s Nutcracker, a relative of the crows and jays. Researchers have found that Nutcrackers have an incredible ability to remember thousands of site where they store seeds for the winter and essentially plan methods for remembering the locations when they will be under many feet of snow. This print is a limited edition. It was remastered on December 23, 2019 and now trims at exactly 9 x 12.
