This is a 12 x 16 signed print.  The painting is based on the view of Seattle and Mt. Rainier from Kerry Park on Queen Anne Hill.  A male and female Violet-green Swallow are cruising through the air space above the hill.  Violet-green Swallows are resident summer breeders in all or most Seattle neighborhoods although they have become embattled in the 2000s.  The acrylic painting was begun in 2002 and Ed worked on it sporadically for the next dozen years until the publication date of this print.
