#205 Working the Docks (Great Blue Heron)

  • Hand-signed by the artist,
  • 10 x 14″ image area 12 x 16″ trim
  • (unmatted, but mats to 14 x 18),
  • foam-core backed and bagged.

One of the flagship paintings of the Ed Newbold Wildlife Artist company.

The idea came from the Stillaguamish estuary on land south of the main-stem of the river and south of Stanwood.  I didn’t see the appeal of the scene at the time, but at least recorded it with a snapshot so I could make that judgement later.  Of course, there wasn’t a Great Blue Heron there, but they were out in the estuary that day, along with Marsh Wrens and Northern Harriers.

Re-sized in the fall of 2013 to fit standard mats and frames.
