#216 Grays Harbor spring shorebird migration poster 12 x 16 horizontal
$17.00
12 x 16 signed poster, foamcore-backed and bagged, This is a large painting I did of shorebirds at Bottle Beach, which is a small State Park-owned beach on the south shore of Gray’s Harbor–you pass it on your way to Westport. The birds are Short-billed Dowitchers (those, of course, are the long-billed birds), Dunlins (red with black belly), Black-bellied Plover (large) and Western Sandpipers, small with white underside. These birds stop in Gray’s Harbor to fatten up for a long flight to the Copper River Delta in Alaska.
