This is an 18 x 24 signed print, image area 15 x 21. This painting is a flagship painting done in 1999 that is always out in front at the store.  It’s based on a scene I walked by and snapped in the Stillaquamish estuary.  There were Great Blue Herons around in force, but none on the dock.  This edition is new–there are absolutely no changes in the painting this time but Olympus Press press-man Lee did a really great job on the offset litho and the image has never looked better–a bit fuller and richer than it has ever been printed before.  This is in keeping with my intent as the artist because I work in a fairly dark basement and my eyes see paintings generally as more color dense than they really are.  If you happen to be at the store and are familiar with this painting, check it out.  It may be the best-published painting I ever published.
