This painting of Snoqualmie Falls features one of the Northwest’s under-hyped specialties, a Chestnut-backed Chickadee. You can tell when the Chickadees overhead are of this species when you hear their squeaky tone of voice. Delia calls them the “Rubber-ducky-bird.”
