This is a new print (June 10,2020) that features selected members of the Carnivora order that make their home in Washington State and the Northwest. Top is a Bobcat, below that a gang of River Otters, I painted it thinking of it as a Mom with three full-grown and exuberant pups, four Gray Wolves in a high-country scene, a Pine Marten, and a Black Bear family. Black Bears in Washington are often somewhat brownish; they do not look like a New Jersey or Louisiana Black Bear with it’s cinnamon eyebrows and smart black suit.
