#584 Caspian Tern over Elliott Bay (Medium Skinny 6 x 18)

Image size 4.75 x 14.75″; trim size 6 x 18″ signed and hand-titled by Ed. This is intended as a sister print to Seattle from the Bay, from a painting begun in 2019. This is a summer scene, with Seattle’s most glamorous but largely-uncelebrated avian star, a Caspian Tern, flying over the Bay. Caspian Terns are large and from a distance probably often dismissed as gulls but have inordinately slender wings, a powerful wing-stroke and are decked out with a black crest and a large bright red bill.
