Red-crowned Parrots. This is the first of a series of South Texas paintings to see the light of day as a print. This is one of the most endangered birds in America and owes its existence now to urban tree canopy in the Brownsville Texas neighborhoods. Thanks to everyone who lets fruit trees grow in their yard, as the wild habitat of this bird, in Northeastern Mexico, is in trouble. A really beautiful Parrot.
