I started work on this painting as my limited edition print “Friendship” was selling out. Friendship showed two Wolves, one leaning over to be affectionate to the other. The scene is replicated in this painting many years later in these wolves’ lives, but now in the context of their pack and now with a bright moon casting shadows on an imagined Northern Montane scene which is most certainly not tied to any real place. May Friendship live on!
