Shipped flat (foamcore back–not attached–and clear-bagged)

This is my artist’s licensed portrayal of an alpine meadow above Paradise.  On a visit there to prepare for this painting I twice caught sight of a Rufous Hummingbird whizzing by, making its characteristic buzzing sound that no other US Hummer makes. We also encountered an alpine ephemeral creek with Monkeyflower clusters growing along it, plus the usual complex of beautiful wildflowers of the high country. This is the painting after many years of tweaking.
