NC #37 Spotted Owl
This notecard is new as of December 2, 2013.
The text reads: “A Spotted Owl sits on a large Doug Fir. It’s daytime, but the Owl is awake and casually observing a Golden-crowned Kinglet that is foraging through the branches for insects. Tiny Golden-crowned Kinglets are related to old-world warblers; their high-pitched whistled-song can often be heard as one hikes the lowland forests of the Northwest.”
