#10 Beluga Whales

I painted these whales from photos I took at the Point Defiance Zoo back in the 80s.  Those whales sure loved people.  I guess that whole story is sad and so is the Alaska situation.  I used to hear all the time from people who lived in Anchorage who would tell me about the Belugas in Cooke Inlet.  Nobody brings it up anymore, and neither do I:  we’re all part of the conspiracy of cheerfulness.
