218 Bluebirds in Snow (12 x 16 horizontal)

This is a view I grew up with, of the Sterner’s house and barn that was across Renninger Road and up the hill from our house in western Montgomery County Pennsylvania.  Bluebirds were not present during my youth but I noted them persisting there during snow events on some of my return trips.  Eastern Bluebird, what a great bird.     I took liberties with the distant view.
Image size is 10 x 14 and the trim size is 12 x 16.  (Paper 120 lb. cover, FSC, as per usual)

Back in the 90s, Graham and Caroline Ashford used to own the Heaton House Gallery in Edmonds, where they used to sell my originals. Graham insisted that I paint a scene of Edmonds, and it turned out to have been a really good idea!
