#229 The Harbor in Winter (12 x 16) (Second Edition)
12 x 16 signed poster, foamcore-backed and bagged. Printed on the same heavy paper as our prints and hand-signed by the artist. This is a horizontal or landscape layout that is 16″ wide and 12″ high. The image is a detail from the painting Jack of Diamonds which was an acrylic on masonite that Ed began in 1989 and continued work on in the early 90s. The scene is Gig Harbor, WA, and the volcano is Mt. Rainier. This is the second edition, however. Everything is exactly the same but completely different, as I worked on the image for many hours but tried still to leave it looking about the same. However, the 1st edition had type below the image that said “The Pacific Northwest,” and this print has no type. Plus the color is different. One could prefer either, but let’s say this is post the digital divide and the last was preceding the digital divide.
