Hand-signed and numbered by the artist, limited edition 950, 18 x 24 trim size (unmatted, but mats well to 22 x 28), foam-core backed and bagged. Head in to Mt. Rainer Park from the North and hike up a trail on the left side of the road. You might find breeding Ruby-crowned Kinglets and Red-breasted Nuthatches like those shown in this painting from 1986. Not to mention a view. In April of 2012, this edition was republished larger while preserving the integrity of the limited edition numbering system–that is, the remainder of the original print run that hadn’t sold up until the reprinting, that is #s 294 through 950 be available for the new prints while the corresponding old prints will never be sold, and new, 18 x 24 sized prints will have numbers from 294 to 950.
PS (12 4, 2013). The reason I republished those prints was to take advantage of new digital prepress methods to make the foreground alpine meadow brighter and punchier, as I originally intended and somewhat achieved in the painting. Some have questioned this and indeed, the new print is selling no faster, and perhaps actually slower, than the original version. The integrity of the limit has not been sullied in any way, however.
