#442 Sanderlings at West Point (no type) 12 x 16
Hand-signed by the artist, trim size 12 x 16″ (unmatted, but mats to 14 x 18), foam-core backed and bagged. )
This is a painting from 2008 that was remastered in 2016. Always loved this painting. The Sanderlings are all juveniles with more contrast than the gray and white adults. Sanderlings are not unusual at West Point and used to persist all winter, knock on wood. This is the lighthouse at West Point in Discovery Park, Seattle, Magnolia neighborhood. Mt. Constance in the Olympics is in the background.
