A Bald Eagle at Fidalgo Head in Deception Pass State Park  This painting was begun in 2011. An Osprey was the original subject and that painting is up and running and available on this website.  In one impetuous moment in 2018 I gave up on the Osprey and painted in a Bald Eagle. The original is pretty large, and the Eagle changes the feel of looking at the painting with a closer and larger subject and one that might be seen as more commanding, in an effort to give the subject equal importance to the landscape, which is one of the more dramatic landscapes in the state.
