The largest print ever published by Ed Newbold Wildlife Artistl!

This print was published on June 9, 2021 and is on 130 # cover paper.  The Whales were intended to be Southern Residents, perhaps J-pod, but I did not study actual markings of individuals so the viewer may decide which and what Whales they are. The presence of a youngster implies hope for the future, we must have hope. This image is on the website and at the store in many different sizes. The island is from my imagination, let’s call it Brigadoon Island, somewhere in the San Juan archipelago.  The paper is so thick that it’s actually a pleasure to hold the print, although it won’t be all that much fun to get it matted. My mat cutter is way not big enough for that.  A frame without a mat would not be as difficult, as it is more or less a standard size.
