This is the original painting for the print Redwing and Rainier. On masonite.  The painting was first finished in 2004 and issued as a print and notecard and then I reworked it in 2017, issuing more print sizes, and recently I have continued work in 2025. It’s a view using artist license from the south side of Seward Park looking south at the tip of Mercer Island and Mt. Rainier, I don’t attempt accuracy in landscapes. As far as the photo of the painting, I do the best I can photographing these originals–they never look exactly like any of the prints– and if there is concern at all it can be arranged to be at the store so a prospective buyer can see what the painting looks like.
